2008 ACGA University Scholarship Winner Announced

Kelly Krawchuck has been named winner of the 2008 ACGA $2000 University Scholarship. Kelly, a student at Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia, will use her scholarship to attend Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in the fall. Kelly has been a serious student of Gaelic since she began her university classes, studying the language both at the university and through the TIP program. She has also been active in local Gaelic activities. Kelly would like someday to teach Gaelic in Cape Breton and to be an active member of the Cape Breton Gaelic community.
