Join Michael Newton, Liam Ó Caiside, Rick Gwynallen and Scott Morrison for More Than Kilts and Cabers – Scottish Gaelic Voices from North America, a podcast collaboration among three North American organizations serving the Scottish Gaelic Learning community: An Comunn Gàidhealach Ameireaganach (The American Scottish Gaelic Society), The Hidden Glen Folk School of Scottish Highland Heritage, and Sgoil Ghàidhlig Bhaile an Taigh Mhóir (The Gaelic School of Baltimore). Each day the podcast team will explore the Scottish Gaelic heritage of a different region of North America, from the Canadian Maritimes and US Southeast to the West Coast. The final two episodes will examine ethic myths about the Gaels and how Gaelic voices are being kept alive in North America today by many individuals and organizations.
